About Jeff
Hi there! My name is Jeff Waid and I am proud to say I have been with New Motors of Erie for over a decade. I know what it is like to make a sustainable living with hard work, dedication and pride in my product. I know how much customers appreciate candid truthfulness. I know the value of building customer loyalty. You could say I’ve been in “sales” my entire life. I grew up on a farm in Corry, Pennsylvania, and began selling supplies and equipment to local farmers. Eventually I made my way up to selling John Deere tractors, and sold one to the man who eventually got me started in the car business! I’m grateful he recognized my potential, and now I get to work a job that supports my family while helping others in any way that I can. In my off hours I love spending time with my family. I stay active with my son; we enjoy camping, fishing, and even Go Kart racing. In the rare moments I’m not enjoying the outdoors with my family, you can catch me watching Nascar or cheering for the Steelers!

I recently purchased a 2026 Subaru Outback from New Motors in Erie, PA. The employees were all courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. Jeff Waid contacted me early on in the process. He had sold me a Forester in 2017 and knew that it might be time for me to purchase a new vehicle. Jeff made recommendations based on my needs and followed up by taking me for test drives. He found the vehicle that was perfect for me, my 2 dogs, and my 4 grandchildren. Jeff even came in on his day off to answer my last-minute questions. Also, the other employees were ready to help find vehicles and process paperwork whenever needed. Keisha from financing helped me personally with my on-line application.
